The Avurudu season at Grand Oriental Hotel continues even after Avurudu Day and the celebration last till 23 April. During the season, from the 4th till 23rd of April the entrance of the Hotel is converted into a Avurudu Sweet Meat Hut.
Tiffin Hut sells all traditional sweet meat like Konda Kevum, Mung Kawum, Kokis, Baby Asmi, Paniwalalu and mouth watering Achcharu’s and much more….also the guests can try out hot hot oil cakes right out from the pan during this period.

Desserts and Coffee remix at Continental
The Café Conti of the Continental Hotel has set out to offer a smooth evening chill-out with exquisite desserts and coffee till the end of April.
Coffee and desserts, a natural combination, are on offer from 8.00pm to 11.00pm during the month of April. These custom-made desserts are priced at Rs.400/- and guests can select one dessert with freshly brewed Coffee.
