Jazz afternoon to promote Joes rugby today

As the new driving force behind Rugby at St. Joseph's College Colombo, the "Hornets" will be organizing a Sunday Jazz Afternoon today (May 22) at the Ceylonese Rugby & Football Club from 11.00 am onwards.

The main purpose of this event is to bring together the Rugby loving supporter base of St. Joseph's under one "Hornets" banner. This will help enable St. Joseph's to propel itself in the years to come, and reach the highest levels on the Rugby field as they have done in so many other sports over the last century.

This event will also give the rugby fans the opportunity of meeting the present Josephian rugby team who are currently competing in the schools Division-1 A segment. There will also be a launching of the 2011 Rugby supporters jersey during this event.

Tickets will be priced at Rs. 1,000 for adults and Rs. 500 for kids between the ages of 10 and 12 and will include a special barbeque lunch along with beverages as part of the entrance cover.

This event promises to be fun for adults and children alike with a jazz band, DJ, Pony rides, face painting & bouncers as part of the entertainment. Therefore it is an event that you and your family must make it a point to attend if you are a Josephian rugby fan.
