In 2005 all the people had to make an application in front of the L.T.T.E., in the ‘Omantha’ checkpoint to enter Jaffna. It was like taking visa to enter another country. After entering the terrorists’ region, all you could see were policemen, hospitals, banks and checkpoints which belonged to the L.T.T.E.

An unforgettable day at Nuga Gama

To enjoy this unforgettable day, the Funday Times Club Members had to send in completed jigsaw puzzles and thirty winners were selected for the workshop. The workshop was held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel on March 19 at 9.30 a.m., and was focused on World Water Day and the International Year of Forests. The thirty club members were greeted by the Funday Times Staff with a Funday Times cap.
