The Rotaract Shutterbug Photography week will open a platform for you to experience a rollercoaster ride of photographic moments from October 29 to November 5, 2011.
The Rotaract Shutterbug Photography week is a segment of the Rotaract Shutterbug initiative by the Rotaract Club of Panadura and will consist of days/evenings of various thematic sessions presented by professionals in the respective fields; interactive sessions; visits to different sites for photographic expeditions through the Photo Walk, online competitions and activities and more
The week starts with a photo-walk which will take place from 7am – 11am on October 29 to capture the essence of Colombo through one’s lens! Take part in this to see the surprises that await you.
Photoshop is an essential tool for photographers. A skills building session for beginners on photoshop will take place on October 30 at Ogilvy Action, Colombo. This will be a full day programme.
Some of the thematic areas identified for the Photography week are Photojournalism and Photography and new Media for change. Those sessions will take place on November 1 – 2 at the American Centre in Colombo.
