Re-opening the doors of style

Art of Living launches new collection and revamped flagship store

Art of Living recently introduced its latest collection of home ware, complete with a re-launch at its flagship store in Wellawatta (opposite HSBC). The retail and wholesale company, also the country’s largest glassware supplier, had expanded its premises to include a new range of linen, cutlery and glassware.

Ifeth Mansoor, who owns the store and worked together with her son to revamp the look said, “Every item that we make available at Art of Living is individually handpicked from our travels. They are mostly very unique pieces that would be difficult to find anywhere else.”

She also explains that all items in the gallery are always in stock and could be made available anytime during the day for large orders. The gallery is also working on an exhibit by local photographers, which they believe exemplify the store’s concept of living in style.

They stock home ware from brands such as Martin Ballendert for Lucaris, RAK, and many others from India, Pakistan and Dubai. They place a very strong emphasis on quality, a range so wide you could pick up some gorgeous candles for as low as Rs. 100 or an absolutely stunning and intricately detailed lamp for Rs. 25,000.

Art of Living is located at No 33 1/3, Galle Road, Colombo 06. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
