Asian Paints launches SL's first interior paint with Teflon

Sri Lanka's first-ever interior paint with Teflon Surface Protector has been launched in the country by Asian Paints, the company said. Asian Paints' 'Royale' branded Luxury Emulsion paint now contains Teflon patented by the multinational DuPont, offering users significant value additions, the statement said.

"The Teflon Surface Protector significantly enhances the ease of cleaning and maintaining 'Royale' Luxury Emulsion wall finishes, as it ensures the safety of the film of paint while scrubbing. In addition, the TeflonR Surface Protector acts as a barrier to stains and combined with the natural strength of the 'Royale' Luxury Emulsion coating, enables a film of paint to withstand a high amount of pressure," it said.

"The launch of this exciting new product reflects Asian Paints' commitment to offer technically superior solutions that translate to significant savings for consumers," Joseph L. Pulikottil, Asian Paints' Director/General Manager in Sri Lanka said. "Asian Paints has introduced many innovative 'industry-firsts', which have revolutionised the local market, and we expect the latest product, with strong aesthetic as well as performance properties, to make its mark."
