First Award Ceremony at Horizon Campus
View(s):Horizon Campus celebrated its first Award Ceremony on May 12, 2012 for students who completed two different levels of English programmes from the Centre for Languages of Horizon Campus.The ceremony was held at the premises of Horizon Campus and the Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr. Upul Daranagama, the Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Campus and Horizon College International. Also present during the ceremony were special guests Mr. Danesh Abeyawickrema, Executive Director and Mr. Rohitha Wanigasekara, General Manager of Skills International (Pvt) Ltd which is an implementation partner of City & Guilds programmes.
With the need for better and continuous development of English language being in the forefront for Horizon Campus; in time several other programmes were added to the growing list of programmes namely Diploma in English, English for Explorers, English for Seniors, English for Juniors, etc., at very affordable fees.
The group of students who received certificates on the day of the award ceremony is, no doubt the next generation of Sri Lankan work force, who is reaping the benefits of learning English as a language in an established campus environment.
Horizon Campus is situated in the lush, beautiful, stress free environment and landscape of Malabe, with state of the art facilities, classrooms with Wi-Fi, Laboratories, Library, Wi-Fi enabled lecture halls, Conference halls, Computer laboratories with internet facility for the students, cafeteria, table tennis, net ball court, basketball court etc.
