‘Chanchala Rekha’ as a miniplay
View(s):‘Gamperaliya’, ‘Golu Hadawatha’ and ‘Gehenu Lamai’ were some of the tele-productions that were made to miniscreen as successful teleplays. The trend has returned and now ‘Chanchala Rekah’, a yesteryear well-known film is now being made into a teleplay by young filmmaker Suneth Malinga Lokuhewa.
Produced by Jagath Wijenayake, a well-known film producer, the teleplay will be stared by Gayan Wickrematillake, Dinakshi Priyasad, Saranga Dissasekara, Muthu Tharanga, Sarath Kothalawela, Kavinga Perera, Menaka Maduwanthi, Clitus Mendis, Grace Ariyawimal, Nilmini Kottege, Chinthaka Peiris, Sandani Wijesinghe, Tharaka Adhikari and Eranda Lashan.
Prabath Roshan who designed the camera direction for Somapala Leelanada’s story will handle the same for ‘Chanchala Rekha’ while Ranjith Jayasekara will play the role of production manager.
Eheliyagoda Somathilake will handle the art direction and costume while Tharaka Adhikari will be in charge of make up.
