Hits of 70’s at Kularatne Hall
View(s):‘Hits of 70’s’, a grand musical evening featuring a mix of stars from the 70’s and 80’s era, will come alive at the Kularatne Hall of Ananda College on 4th August starting at 7.00pm. The ‘Hits of Seventies’ will feature Annesley Malawana, Anil Bhareti, Dalreen Suby, Mariazelle Gunethileka, Errol Fernando, Keerthie Pasqual and Christine Fernando along with Pradeepa Ariyawansa Dance Troupe.
Musical backing for all artistes will be provided by ‘Annesley & Super Chimes’.
The 70’s concept is the brain child of Annesley Malawana, who presented the first ‘Stars of 70’s’ show in 1997 at St. Joseph’s College Auditorium to a record crowd of over 3000 people.
Since then Annesley never looked back and continued with popular ‘Stars of 70’s’.
He has taken this ‘Stars of 70’s’ musical extravaganza to Canada and most recently to Australia in February, where the response was really great.
Although ‘Stars of 70’s’ is confined only to Group Songs, ‘Hits Of 70’s’, which is organized by the Recreation Club of B.D.Partners will feature a mix of artistes of 70’s and 80’s.
As always, the evergreen and popular Vijaya Corea will be the MC of the night at the show.
‘70’s fans will be treated to a fun filled evening of music, song and dance on Saturday, 4th August. The music lovers are requested to book their tickets early as the tickets sales are moving fast’ said Annesley.
