The ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA)  launched the spiralation connect | mobile project at Park Street Mews (50/1) Park Street Colombo recently. Although the session concerned has been held earlier in the ICTA premises this was the first time the session was held outside ICTA premises. This was also the first time more than 20 CXO level mentors came  together to assist budding entrepreneurs.

The new spin-off project   ‘spiralation connect | mobile’, provides a platform for budding entrepreneurs to have their ideas refined and shaped through experience sharing, guidance and mentoring. Spiralation connect | mobile, the first in a series of themed networking sessions,  focused on mobile technologies and entrepreneurs who wish to launch their startup in mobile space. Participants  had the opportunity to have one-on-one mentoring sessions with mentors who were equipped with different skill sets ranging from idea validation, business, technology and marketing.

Spiralation connect | mobile  focused on the mobile solution space and   covered the essential factors budding entrepreneurs need to consider when launching a start-up. It was ideal for technology enthusiasts, budding entrepreneurs, those who were engaged in start-ups and mobile application developers. The session also included case studies from start-ups to global leaders, panel discussions, one –to –one mentoring, networking and refreshments.
