Jazz vocalist Larry Gibson, popularly known as LG in the USA, is now perfomes exclusively at the Pigeon Island Resort (PIR) in Nilavelli, Trincomalee.

Larry Gibson is a professional Jazz vocalist and a musician, now performing at one of the East coasts exclusive resorts Island Resort.LG is a Vocalist /guitarist and he also play Keyboards.

He will perform at PIR for one month befor he leaves for his assingment in Florida.Born in Ohio, but now based in Orlando, Florida, Larry is a versatile giutarist. He has been playing guitar for over 20 years and playing keyboards singing all types of songs, attracts larger crowds for his performances all round the world . He studied guitar styles of some of the veterans in the field, such as: Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, BB King, George Benson, Al McKay (Earth Wind & Fire’s former guitarist), Jimi Hendrix and Chuck Berry just to name a few.

Larry has performed all over Us as a duo with popular Cariebbean singer Tanya SmithLG played R&B/Soul music in a few different bands touring Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, Virginia and Pennsylvania delighting audiences at hotels, casinos, Universities/Colleges. LG toured and performed in clubs, hotels and lounges in the USA, Europe, Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Monte Carlo and Taiwan for over 10 years. He also performed on Carnival Cruise Ships for 6 months and 9 different Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships since 2002.

Larry has also worked on one disaster hit Costa Cruise Ship out of Italy in 2010 (cruising North Africa, Italy, Malta and Spain).  ‘LG can be an up-front man on lead vocals and guitar or play guitar and sing in the back ground. His forte is R&B, Soul, Motown, Reggae, some Light Rock and Jazz Standards’said Pandula Weerakoon, General Manager – Sales & Marketting of the Pigeon Island Beach Resort, who was behind bringing LG to PIR.
