Alston climes on ARIA
View(s):Sri Lankan born Aussie star Alston Koch’s album ‘Don’t Funck with Me’ having reached No. 3 on the ARIA Australian Charts and holding the No. 2 position for six weeks on the ARIA Dance Album Charts is now climbing the charts in Europe while the music video for ‘Don’t know why’ (the 2nd song taken off the album) is on high rotation throughout Europe.
In the meantime, SONY has this week just released the 2nd single/song off the album picking up radio adds across the board within days of release with more radio adds to come in this week.
The song with all the various mixes is now available on iTunes and all good record stores etc.Alston is on the tail end of a live performance tour in Europe to promote the album and the new single.
Having earned the title of ‘Funk Master’ from ARIA for his dedication to dance music and ‘The Prophet of Dance’ by the Austereo Radio Network not forgetting the NEWS LTD title of ‘Grand Pa of Dance’, Alston has signed a major publishing deal for his exclusive story to be published soon by an International Women’s Magazine.
The music video for ‘Soul Sounds’, the 1st single off the album was one of the most played videos throughout the world and is destined to be nominated for a special award this year.
