Sri Lankan entrepreneur receives ‘business champion of the year’ at US business forum

Sri Lankan-born entrepreneur, Susantha Shan Sisilchandra, founder and CEO of Ceyhinz Link International, was among those who received awards from the Governor’s North Texas Business Forum held to recognize some of Lone Star state’s most successful entrepreneurs.
Mr. Sisilchandra received the “Business Champion of the Year” honor in the program established by Texas State Governor Rick Perry. The award was presented by the Texas Workforce Commissioner, Andres Alcantar.
The Office of the Governor launched the Business Forum programme in 2010, to provide Texas-based small and medium business owners access to valuable information on workforce development, training grants, expanding markets and other business growth opportunities. Mr. Sisilchandra’s brand RIOCOCO is based on ethical ecological standards, producing RIOCOCO brand organic growing media substrate for greenhouses around the world.
