Safe House Dance Floor at Nawam Mawatha
‘Electrasia Vol 1- Safe House’, one of Colombo’s biggest dance music – DJ Productions, will come alive at the Colombo’s idyllic prestigious location Nawam Mawatha Open Air Warehouse on Saturday, 25 August from 8.00pm.
‘Electrasia Vol 1- Safe House’ will feature some of Sri Lanka’s best talked about DJs and three top internationally acclaimed DJs from Scotland and Malaysia.
DJ Dayshavoo, DJ Cassie D., DJ Hana K. popular sin master DD Reeve, DJ Shyam, DJ Upul, DJ jay Vibes, DJ Sushan, DJ, Rucky and DJ Nick are some of the top names, who are billed to perform at this ‘Electrasia -1’ glow night.
Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, DJ Dayshavoo is the new upcoming DJ, whose passion for dance music started from the age of 11 leading to the start of spinning at 18. Taking off first with techno music he then jumped into trance, house, electro, electro house, and so on. His style of music now is mainly experimenting with the hardcore variety of electro house and deep house base fusing dub, drum n’ bass as well as jazz for that chilling/relaxing effect which is evident in his tracks.
This is his first visit to Sri Lanka.
‘Cassie D’ is from KL, Malaysia. Hailed by many as the next up and coming progressive and energy house DJane with heaps of talent and musical ability, Cassie D has been known to make dance floors explode with her rocking vibe and body shaking selections from top dance artistes such as J Nitti, Dinka, Chris Reece, Helvetic Nerds and Niels Van Gogh, not to mention owning an ever increasing string of followers she gathers in the Kuala Lumpur Club circuit.
‘Hana K.’ too is from Malaysia. Her ability to combine music of different genres from Rhythm and Blues to Electro mash up, makes unique an unde statement for her nights, leaving crowds wanting more. To top it all off Hana is no stranger to the microphone, spitting lines to get the crowd even more hyped up.
The DJ Producer of the ‘Electrasia Vol 1- Safe House’ is Terry Whyte. DJ/Producer Terry is a resident DJ of ‘Club 69’, one of Scotland’s popular underground clubs. The event is coordinated by D Production headed by Dhanushka de Silva.
‘The event is expected to be sold out in advance considering the number of factors. The hype that will be created prior to the event, top notch DJs and the production capabilities are some of the leading factors. D Production has previously engaged in many events such as Halloween Spooky Nights 1, 2, 3, Xmas Rave, Freaky Friday to name a few’ Dhanushka said.
