Yashan opens a new career
View(s):Popular young singing sensation Yashan opened a unisex salon in Narahenpita recently to coincide with his birthday.
Yashan said, Salon Sha Passion should be patronised to experience the world’s latest in hair and skin care.
‘The salon is open seven days a week from 8.30 am to 12 midnight. Our services include hair cuts, Blow drying, Threading, Manicure, Pedicure, Re-Bonding, Facial/ Facial clean up, make-up, Tatoo, Head/Face/Foot massage, straightening, tints, full dressing, Ironing, Saree Drape, Highlights, Waxing, Perm and all other aspects’ he added.

Whats up Yashan? Whats new in your end?
Well I’m working on my 3rd studio album these days. Released two brand new songs recently called ‘GAME OVER’ and ‘MAL SIHINAYE’. One is an English song and the other is a duet with Shanudrie, one of the youngest actresses in Sri Lanka. Did a re-make of a song by late Clarence Wijewardena as well & that will be out soon with M entertainment. I launched my new business venture last SUNDAY on my birthday. And that’s ‘SALON SHA PASSION’.
What’s Salon Sha Passion all about?
It’s a Unisex salon. As I believe Skin, Hair & beauty, all are elements in FASHION. And FASHION plays a Major roll in current society. So my target is to give people an opportunity to try out new trends, styles and experience the worlds latest in hair & skin care at a feel good venue. Could u tell us about ‘GAME OVER’?
Its an English Hip house / Dance Hop song which i did for my hiphop/rap fans. Full song was written by my self and it features Salome de Silva a.k.a Esdee as a female vocalist. Music direction of the song was done by Udara Fernando @ Faith & Hope Studios. It took almost two months for us just to produce the audio of the song. We worked really hard on this one. My main focus on this song is to get international recognition for my music and for my country Sri Lanka.
I have already proved it by getting my songs featured on worlds number one radio stations such as “BBC RADIO 1” .
