Mercury Institute of Management is synonymous in having achieved above world pass rates for all subjects at consecutive examinations in Sri Lanka and has reached the pinnacle of international standards in ACCA tuition .This has led both parents and students to make Mercury Institute their number one choice for guaranteed best results in ACCA.
This is also the first time that such an initiative has been launched by a Tuition Provider of a professional qualification and it therefore marks a new chapter in enabling students the chance to gain a globally accepted qualification while still being at school.
Foundations in Accountancy, the qualification offered to the students of Alethea International School , was created after detailed consultation with employers, learning providers, members and other professional accountancy bodies and regulators, to meet the ever increasing demand for professionally qualified accountants who have both a practical as well as ethical knowledge required for today’s businesses, has a wide-ranging syllabus which spans the key elements of financial and management accounting and includes areas such as Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting, Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting, Diploma in Accounting and Business and Certified Accounting Technician Qualification (CAT), which includes specialist papers and work experience in audit, tax and financial management. The highly practical content of this qualification will help students acquire knowledge that can be directly applied in the workplace, offering immediate benefits to existing and prospective employers. Another key benefit of the qualification is that it awards certifications awarded at each level, helping students to chart their progress, and employers to recruit and train to meet their particular business needs.
Ms .Nilusha Ranasinghe ,Head of ACCA Sri Lanka , commended Mercury Institute for this initiative and said “ ACCA confers Platinum Status to only a handful of its Tuition Providers ‘in recognition of the exceptional quality of tuition provided and maintaining pass rates above global pass rates for all subject for consecutive exam sessions and support for ACCA students. Mercury Institute has always ensured that the highest level of ACCA standards have been met in the methodologies they have adopted in imparting knowledge to their students.

These students who will be armed with accounting and finance knowledge, skills and professional values needed by all organizations regardless of the sector they will work in, will be a testament to the power of collaborative partnerships of this nature and will be the best advertisement that both ACCA and Mercury could possibly have.ACCA could not agree more with such an initiative and we fully endorse this programme .
