View(s):Tantalizing aromas tickled the taste buds of passers-by along BOC Mawatha, near the Dutch Hospital in Fort recently, when 60 chefs whipped up delectable dishes from around the world at 25 stalls.

It was the Street Cooking Food Festival organised by Hilton Colombo to commemorate its 25th anniversary. More than 6,000 visitors sampled food from the stalls, each of which was decorated to represent a country. A Long Bar serving cocktails also showcased Hilton’s award-winning bartender Dain’s skills.
While stilt-walkers mingled with the crowd, entertainment was by Iraj, Bathiya & Santhush, Lahiru and Corrine Almeida & the Beat Box.
