The University of Nottingham is ranked within the top one percent of all universities worldwide, according to the UK Guardian University Ranking (2012) it is ranked 26th. The University of Nottingham is part of the prestigious Russell Group of UK universities which are committed to maintaining the very best research, and outstanding teaching and learning experience and unrivalled links with business and the public sector.
The University of Nottingham has two campuses in Asia, one in China and the other in Malaysia, The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus opened in September 2000 to become the first campus of a British University in Malaysia and one of the first anywhere in the world – earning the distinction of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2001 and the Queen’s Award for Industry (International Trade) 2006.
In September 2005, the Malaysia Campus moved to its new purpose-built campus at Semenyih, 30km south of Kuala Lumpur city centre. Occupying a scenic position overlooking green hills on a 101-acre site, and designed to mirror the attributes of University Park in the UK, the campus is a self-contained and self-sufficient neighbourhood village in a garden environment with over 3800 students.
The Malaysia Campus confers exactly the same degrees as those in the UK and all courses are taught in English. The University of Nottingham Malaysia offers a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes including;
