‘Colour’ on CEL circuit

One of the latest Sinhala movies ‘Colour’ , starring Kamal Adararachchi, Udayanthi Kulathunga and Sandani Sulakkana is now being screened at Regal Colombo and CEL circuit cinemas around the country.

Directed by Isuru Weerasingha Mudali, the film is produced by Iranthi Samarasingha and cinematographed by Priyantha Malavige. Edited by Tissa Surendra, music director is Sanka Deneth and art director is Aruna Dias.
The other main roles in ‘Colour’ are played by Priyantha Mansilu, Angela Seneviratne and Jayani Senanayake and the film narrates the story of a painter.

The maiden film venture of young director Isuru, ‘Colour’ depicta a story of a strong character. “I wanted to employ an actor who did possess a developed and powerful character to play the role and Kamal produced an outstanding performance providing my selection,” Isuru said. “There are colours related to each and every person in this world and I had no better title than ‘Colour’,” he said the title of the film.

Isuru who turned to cinema from advertising is ready with his next film direction ‘Mal’ (Flowers), a story around two youngsters who had never seen or known each other until theymeet each other through the use of mobile phones.
