Narayanan Krishnan to speak at Viluthu charity fundraiser

Viluthu, which works for the upliftment of the war- affected Tamils and Muslims of the north and east and this year also in the Wanni, has organized a charity fundraiser dinner on September 16 at 6.30 p.m. at the Taj Samudra in aid of differently-abled children and widows.

Deputy Indian High Commissioner, P. Kumaran will be the chief guest while Member of Parliament Dr. Harsha de Silva will be the guest-of-honour. The keynote speaker will be one of CNN’s Top 10 Heroes for 2010, Narayanan Krishnan from the Akshaya Trust, Madurai, who has been recognised for his service to his society (http://www.akshayatrust.org/). He will speak on ‘Citizens and corporate social responsibility’ and the importance of personal commitment for social change.
