The Rotaract Club of Wellawatte recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and installation ceremony at the HNB Auditorium. Past District Governor Rotarian Nalin Fernando graced the event as chief guest.

Rotaractor Sathyendra Tharmakularajasingham was installed as the 26th President of the Club along with his board of directors while pledging to revive some of the signature projects of RCW.

Rotarian Yasas Hewage, Assistant Vice President of NDB Bank delivered the key note speech emphasizing the impact on the environment of our day to day lives. This has initiated a wave of projects to be launched on sustainability by the club.
Chartered on June 30, 1987 the Rotaract Club of Wellawatte is one of the vibrant Rotaract Clubs in R.I District 3220 – Sri Lanka. RCW is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mount-Lavinia. The club has produced four District Rotaract Representatives thus far and one District Governor.
