MTI’s ‘The Knowledge Conglomerate’ concludes successful event with Dr. Gupta
View(s):MTI’s ‘The Knowledge Conglomerate’ (TKC) recently concluded its third one day workshop in Colombo conducted by Dr. Sunil Gupta, Chief Innovation Instigator, of IDEAS Management Consultants renowned Life time master trainer of Dr. Edward de Bono tools.
The workshop was a move away from the conventional learning surroundings. From the content to the learning methods the approaches adopted were highly experiential and creative. Idea stimulation was highly concentrated with hands on assignments for the participants in order to move away from conventional thinking patterns, MTI said.
The workshop was based around the objectives of changing minds, generate and developing ideas, testing ideas, creating and improving products, processes or services as a ‘way of life’ and the learning methods complemented this in bringing out the essence of all the core concepts. Dr. Gupta created and stimulated an environment which engaged the participants in highly energetic and idea stimulating course modules and experiential exercises, the MTI statement added.
Dr. Gupta used actual commercial scenarios where creativity and innovation has paid off for MNC’s in other regions and globally. All modules were strongly applied and compared to the present working contexts within the various service sectors of the representative participants, MTI added.
This third workshop organized by TKC is one out of a series of executive education programmes launched in July with the aim of educating Managers at all levels. Each workshop is targeted at diverse segments of executives where themes are selected to match timely requirements within the current managerial contexts.
