Studying overseas is a hot topic and a very costly exercise. With a depreciating currency coupled with escalating fees and cost of living in overseas study destinations the possibility of studying overseas is becoming very much a dream for many deserving students. Every child needs access to decent education. Under the current circumstances access to decent education for many Sri Lankan children has been blocked or stalled for various reasons. We at International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Limited, are of the view education is a universal right and has a policy of serving students from all walks of life.

In keeping with our views and policies we strive to serve children from all sections society and like to draw your attention to the very attractive scholarships and fee waivers offered by some of the leading institutes overseas represented by us.

Usually these scholarships are offered to high academic achievers and occasionally to high achievers in sports. At undergraduate level in general there are scholarships of up to 50% reduction in tuition fees offered by many highly reputed institutes in the countries we place students. As a rule of thumb a student having 3 Bs in the GCE Advance Level (Local or UK) can get up to 25% off tuition fees depending on the country and the institute. For students with 2A and 1B or better it is possible to get up to 50% off the tuition fees and again this will depend on the institute. Occasionally students with very high grades can get full fee scholarships. In Malaysia there are some institutes offering scholarships for students with very good grades in the GCE Ordinary Level to do a foundation or a pre university course.

The only standard published full scholarship available to general public is Ausaid Endeavour scholarship. Please refer Ausaid website for further details. In general there are no scholarships offered to study medicine. However some Chinese universities offer generous scholarships for high achieving students once they enrol and commence their studies in the university.
