Best New Years’ Eve celebrations at MLH
Mount Lavinia Hotel is gearing up for the ‘Best New Year’s event ever. New Years Eve Dinner Dance 2012 at the Mount Lavinia Hotel will feature two of Sri Lanka’s top names in the music scene. Popular band Doctor and Chandani Hettiarachchi and her band C&C along with DJ Suneth will be in action at the Pool Terrace of the Mount Lavinia Hotel from 9.30pm on Monday, 31 December 2012.
New Year’s Eve celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in this year’s New Year celebrations at MLH it intertwines ‘The Best in Food, Drinks and music’ amidst the pulse and promise of the fabulous ambience the Terrace generates at night and not forgetting the dazzling display of the fireworks.
The New Year bash will feature some of the best culinary delights and special beverages.When asked what is this year’s theme? as last year’s ‘La Fete’ was a grand success, Anura Dewapura, the General Manager of the Mount Lavinia Hotel, avers ‘the theme is all about offering the best that money can buy and literally simply the best. People pay so much for a new year’s ticket and end up with just the night. So we changed our outlook and surfaced Premium brands and premium food and even premium value offerings for the price one would pay for the ticket and we have added no doubt the everlasting memories that one can never buy’.
The tickets are priced at Rs 19,000.00 one would pay for the new Year’s eve at the Terrace.The ticket includes Premium Open bar, variety of Cocktails, more premium local beverages, Cigar Bar, Shisha Corner, Some of the items in the Gala Buffet – Sushi/Sashimi Bar, Champagne Oyster Bar, Imported Smoke hams/Salamis, Duck Liver Terrine, Smoked and marinated Baltic Salmon and Grand Salad Bar and Ceviche Bar.
American Style Roast Station, Tuscan Risotto station, BBQ seafood , Sri Lankan delights, Indian specialties, Chocolate fondue station and Italian Coffee Bar are some of the added attractions.
