Lightning kills Korean tourists at Liptons Seat
View(s):Two Koreans were killed and three others injured when lightning struck while they were at a well-known scenic tourist spot, Liptons Seat, in Dambetenna, Haputale.
Police said the tragedy occurred around 6.30 p,m when the area was experiencing heavy rains accompanied by thunder and lightning.
The three women who sustained injuries were rushed to Haputale hospital.
