Kegalle Sports Club called correct to win the final of the 12th Annual seven-a-side over 40 soccer final conducted by the Soccer Veterans Association of Sri Lanka at Cooray Park, Colombo 6 recently.

The final ended in a scoreless draw and even the penalty shootout too, failed to produce a concrete result.

Cooray Park was big enough to accommodate two games at the same time and the first round matches were played on a league basis, while the semis and finals were conducted on a knockout basis.

The following teams qualified for the semi finals from their respective groups: ‘A’ Wattala Veterans SC ‘A.’ ‘B’ Kegalle SC ‘A’. ‘C’ Negombo Masters SC ‘A’. ‘D’ Dehiwela/Mount Lavinia SC ‘B’. ‘E’ Super Stars. ‘F’ Old Cooray SC ‘Black.’ ‘G’ Sun Rise SC ‘B’. ‘H’ Old Bens SC – BM
