Dubai-based MEP contractor begins operations in Sri Lanka
View(s):BK Gulf, part of Dutco Balfour Beatty Group which is one of the leading MEP contractors in the Middle East, is to begin operations in Sri Lanka early next year focusing on the Sri Lankan MEP construction industry, the company said.
An MEP contractor executes the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing/Public health related jobs in a project.
A media release said BK Gulf General Manager, George C Shields and Operations Director, Channa K Egodage have established contact with various property developers and consultants in the country over the past few months.
The company provides a complete contracting service including design development, procurement, project management, installation, testing, commissioning and facility management to meet specific client requirement. The media release quoted Mr. Shields as saying “We are active in over 80 countries with our parent group and understand the infrastructure needs of emerging economies as well as mature economies”. We are setting the industry standard for ethics, safety and sustainability,” he said.
