‘Skyfall’ celebrate golden jubilee of James Bond
View(s):Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series, ‘Skyfall’ twenty-third spy film in the Eon Productions of 007 will be released in Sri Lanka on November 9 simultaneously to worldwide release.
Produced for MGM, Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the film features Daniel Craig’s third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film’s villain.
Directed by Sam Mendes and written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, in the latest version, Bond’s loyalty to MI 6 is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
The CEL release imported to Sri Lanka by Aaiswariya Films, the film is to be screened at the Majestic Cineplex Colombo.
