Over the past few years, it has come to our attention that our students have not made use of the wide range of opportunities available to them to pursue higher education within the country. It is with the view of overcoming these obstacles thatthe volunteer-driven organization, SL2College, has come up with a new initiative, the Sri Lanka Education Forum (SLEF).

Students who finish their Advanced Level examination are required to make critical decisions about their future. In recent years, these examinations have become extremely competitive with only the top 11% of students who pass aregetting selected to government universities.
Therefore,there has been a tendency among students to make decisions based on ongoing trends, rather than make informed decisions. SL2College, as a dedicated and unbiased community striving to improve higher education in Sri Lanka, feels the need to change this pattern by informing students about the diverse opportunities available within the country.

Seminar series launch

We are launching the first step of our seminar series targeting students faced Advanced Level examination recently. This will be held on the 21st of October(Today) at RCU Skill Center, Royal College, Colombo 7 from 1:30PM to 5:30PM.

Academic fields of study such as Engineering, Business and Marketing, and Information Technology will be discussed by prominent faculty members from local universities as well as by top Industrial Professionals in Sri Lanka. The speakers below will guide students on career and study options available in each of these general fields.

Heis the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Moratuwa, a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, a visiting faculty member atnumber of international universities, and a member of many national-level forums.
