Hameediya Al-Hussaini post biggest win
Hameediya Al-Hussaini College posted the biggest win when they defeated St. Michael’s College by six goals to nil in the opening fixture of the under 15 Colombo District Football Tournament at Campbell Park recently.
The Tournament is being conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association with the FFSL.
In the other fixtures at Campbell Park, Royal College defeated Thurstan College 2-0, Arethusa College beat St. Michael’s 3-0, while the following fixtures ended in nil all draws – Lumbini vs Mahabodhi MV, Hindu College vs Carey College, Jayah MV vs Al-Hikma College, Carey College versus Issipathana Vidyalaya
In the other venue at M.H. Mohamed ground: Asoka MV beat St. Benedict’s College 3-1 and St. Joseph’s College, Darley Road posted a 1-0 win over Ananda College and Zahira College 1-0. D.S. Senanayake beat Nalanda College 1-0.
C.W.W. Kannangara conceded a walk over to Veluwana MV. C.W.W. Kannangara conceded a walk over to Wesley College. Vivekananda College conceded a walk over to St. Joseph’s.
