AA to hold charity Sing-Along for Peter Weerasekara children’s home
View(s):The Automobile Association will lend a helping hand to charity with a Sing-Along on Friday November 2 in aid of the Peter Weerasekara Children’s Home. Tickets are very reasonably priced at Rs. 750 each. The Musical Evening will commence at 7 p.m. at the B.M.I.C.H.
The Guests, including John Amaratunga, Vice Patron of the AA and Dhammika Attygalla, President of the AA will be received by the children and the Trustees of the Peter Weerasekera Children’s Home. A 10 minute film of the Peter Weerasekara Children’s Home will be screened and during the course of the Sing-Along the children from the Peter Weerasekera Children’s Home will participate in two musical items. They were selected as the best by the Department of Probation and Childcare at the recent World Children’s Day.
Ronnie Leitch, the Guest Artist will keep the audience in fits of laughter. The lucky winner of the entrance ticket draw will receive a free air ticket to London.

The popular band Cosmic Rays led by Tyrone Pieries will be in attendance. Quintus Rodrigo will be the compere.
