The second event of the CEPA Cafe Series will be held on Thursday, November 8 at the Centre for Poverty Analysis (CEPA), 29, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7. Titled ‘South Asian machang cultures: Homosociality on the Malabar coast of South India’, it will be an interactive discussion with Filippo Osella on his work studying transformations in forms of male sociality and same-sex intimacy among men from Kozhikode (formerly known as Calicut) in Kerala, South India.
