Royal Institute All-Island U-12 badminton champs

Royal Institute were dominant at the All-Island Inter-School Under 12 Badminton Championship displaying spectacular skills, which enabled them to win the tournament title, following action at Richmond College, Galle from October 18 to 21.

Over 20 teams took part in the championship tournament and the Royal Institute team, captained by Chaniru Bineth Mirando, played the finals extremely well against OKI International School, Wattala.

The other members of the Royal Institute team were: Madusha Perera, Harith Jayasuriya, Pasidu Samarakkody, Yasiru Hansaja, Gamidu Nimsara and Sadeesha Ranmuthu.
