Post-budget tax seminar with tax experts
View(s):A post-budget seminar on the tax proposals is being organised by IVIS (Pvt) Ltd on 14th November from 1.30 pm to 5pm at the Tourist Board auditorium at Kollupitiya.
The focus of the seminar will be to educate and alert the private sector and other individuals about the implications and consequences of the national budget 2013 on business and the economy at a macro level.
The analysis will provide an overview of the key direct and indirect tax proposals, regulatory amendments and policy announcements.
Speakers include Dhammika Gunathilake – Tax Advisor to the Ministry of Finance and Planning, Upali Jayanetti – former Commissioner of Inland Revenue, H.B.A Seneviratne – Deputy Commissioner General Inland Revenue and N.R. Gajendran – Senior partner Gajma and Co. The event will be moderated by Suresh I. Perera – Principal Tax and regulatory, KPMG Sri Lanka.
