Saliya in intensive care after alleged suicide bid
View(s):Central Provincial Council chairman Saliya Dissanayake is in the intensive care unit of the Kandy General Hospital after what sources said was a failed suicide attempt.
Doctors said last night that his condition was stable. According to family sources, Mr. Dissanayake had first tried to hang himself and later swallowed poison.
