Kelly cracks a century as Joes take major honours
View(s):Opener Revan Kelly stroked a fluent unbeaten century as St Joseph’s took major honours against Thurstan College in a All Island Under 13 Division One game that concluded in a no decision at Darley Road.
Left hander Kelly hit three sixes and ten fours on his way to an unbeaten 102, as the Josephians reached an impressive 161 for 4 in 39 overs but had to settle for a no-decision.
Earlier in the day Thurstan batting first went on to score 188/9 in 52 overs before closing their innings.
Emesh Wiranga (37) and Govin Thirimanne (37 n o) top scored for the visitors.
Right arm off spinners Nipun Sumanasinghe and Jehan Fernandopulle picked up four wickets each for the Josephians.
