Peterites SC win on debut
View(s):Peterites Sports Club, making their debut in the Colombo Football League tournament, posted a stunning 3-0 win over Fergason Youth at Campbell Park recently.
In the other fixtures, Saunders FC defeated Old Anandians 2-0 at Morgasmulla and Colpity United SC inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Challenger SC at the M.H. Mohamed Playground.
Furthermore, in another game that was to be played at Campbell Park, Henamulla SC were awarded two points as their opponents, New Star SC conceded a walkover.
The Colombo Football League is celebrating their centenary this year.
Eight matches in the tournament have been postponed due to the inclement weather and none of the grounds are in a fit condition for play.
