Wisdom Business Academy has produced more than 100 Sri Lankan Prizes winners including 7 world prizes winners during the last ten years. In addition 3 of our lecturers have been selected as Tutor of the Year – which is determined by CIMA UK.

The panel of lecturers are invited to conduct revision programmes in countries such as India, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore which further proves the quality of the lecturers.

Wisdom also offers the opportunity to complete their professional qualification along with an academic qualification, which is a degree from Robert Gordon University within the duration of 2 ˝ years at a fraction on the cost of doing the degree in the UK. The Robert Gordon University is currently ranked as the Number One University, among the new universities in the UK by the guardian and the times university rankings. This degree programme is a CIMA top up where the students can start the degree at Wisdom once they have completed the Managerial level of CIMA. The student will directly go to the final year of the degree where only six (6) modules have to be completed for them to obtain the prestigious degree.
How is Wisdom different from the other CIMA institutes in Sri Lanka?

Firstly, there is a reason why Wisdom has a student base of over 5000 per annum and that is due to the quality of lecturing that is provided and the determination and the dedication of the lecturers. We have created an environment which encourages students to discuss doubts and ask questions, all lecturers conduct mock exams and ensure that questions are attempted by the students. These answers are then corrected and comprehensive feedback given – But we also have not forgotten the importance of a well rounded personality.

Wisdom organises Wisdom Business Star, which is a leadership training programme which introduces and enhances their ability to perform in a corporate environment, paying attention to presentation skills, confidence building and the ability to put into practice the knowledge gained. During the course of the programme many Business leaders provide their insight and knowledge, giving students an opportunity to learn and absorb from their experience.

We also encourage CSR projects, such as Canfi – which is an ongoing project which provides resources to the Maharagama Cancer Hospital and Blood donation campaigns
