Exceptional amidst traditional entertainment is the idea behind the seasonal entertainment at the Mount Lavinia Hotel. The Royal Christmas at MLH this year continues to tell the story of the many cultures and traditions that have shaped the spirit of Christmas throughout the years and the unique initiatives added to the season that strengthen bonds and links epitomize MLH’s hospitality throughout the nation.

One of the defining characteristics of this year’s seasonal line-up is St Lucia’s Day celebration on Thursday, 13th December, which surfaces the message of light and hope. A popular festival mostly celebrated in Northern Europe or a Scandinavian tradition proclaiming the message of light and hope.

Ranked with some of the most renowned choirs in the world, VOICE PRINT who have enthralled many an audience both in Sri Lanka and abroad will team up with Coro CantAmici, a choral musical ensemble to ring in the Christmas spirit.

Two traditions merged into one dining initiative is the idea behind Gospel and Jazz Brunch on Boxing Day. Eshantha Peries and his Asia Pacific Jazz ensemble will jazz the day whilst Nuovo Vita will show off Gospel that took shape in the early twentieth century from the old spirituals that gave hope and strength to many.
