Book on cancer awareness

Minister of Health, Maithripala Sirisena receives a copy of the Cancer Awareness booklet ‘The Road to Cancer Prevention’, from Rtn. Nirmali Samaratunga, Rotary Club of Colombo and Director, Cancer Control Programme, Dr. Neelamani Paranagama.
The two organisations have jointly produced this booklet which is available in Sinhala, Tamil and Enlgish. This will be distributed to 700 well woman clinics around the island and the general public, and is aimed at preventing cancer, the second highest non communicable disease, by creating awareness on all cancers particularly breast cancer.
