Christmas Life and Style kicks off the festive season

The festive season is all but upon us. This year, those frazzled with trying to pick out gifts for their near and dear ones can browse through “Christmas Life and Style” that will take place on December 1 at the Moonstone and Amethyst Rooms of the Colombo Hilton from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for some new ideas.

Showcasing some of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious brands, the sale aims to be a ‘one stop destination’ for the discerning shopper. Children’s toys from VTech, contemporary art from Joseph Louis Gallery, cakes, cupcakes and cookies from the Cake Factory, modern gem-studded jewellery from Zam Gems and sterling silver gifts from 1948 will be on sale.

Adding more interest will be educational toys and children’s books from Milk, elegant clothes and accessories from Vati, small consumer electronics from Akita Electronics, hand embroidered and lace embellished linen from Andrea, hand-crafted gifts by disadvantaged and differently abled children and Satya Paul sarees and shalwar lengths from Aashkii.

This diverse collection of products should provide relief for the most stressed-out shopper who could browse and shop in this very elegant setting.

Part proceeds of this sale will go to charity.
