Two die in mosquito coil fire
View(s):A mosquito net that fell on a lit mosquito coil sparked off a fire that claimed the life of a woman and a child in Kuliyapitiya on Friday night, Police said.
The victims were identified as H. M. Kumari (37) and her daughter, eight year old Nethmi. Police said the woman’s husband and another child who were sleeping in another room in the house had escaped unhurt.
