As the Sri Lankans step in to a whole new era in terms of an economy with a sustainable growth, Addressing the contribution of the youth towards the efficacy of the said progressive economy has taken the center stage as a timely significant concern. The requirement of a platform that brings together the business giants and the young entrepreneurs with potential is therefore considered a requirement of great importance.

In order to approach this necessity in a pragmatic manner, AIESEC Sri Lanka which is the Sri Lankan Representation of one of the largest student-run international organizations, has organized Sri Lanka Youth to Business Forum (Y2B) which will be held on the 15th of December for the second consecutive year at the Civil Auditorium of the University of Moratuwa from 8.00 A.M. onwards. Many advance level studentsfrom schools island-wide, undergraduates of state universities as well as private educational institutes will take part in this forum. Unilever Sri Lanka, Cima and Brandix join hands with AIESEC sri Lanka to power up this event as it’s official corporate partners.

There are three contemporary themes specified by the Global AIESEC International entity for this years forum which are: Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Responsibility.

There will be three simultaneous sessions based on these three themes conducted by the resource persons representing Unilever Sri Lanka, Brandix and CIMA respectively. In the morning’s segment of the event.

In the afternoon segment, professional individuals like Mr. Yasas hewage who are well-known in the country for academically specializing on the same themes, will be engaging with the participants in three interactive sessions.

Meanwhile the awareness regarding AIESEC and the opportunities that AIESEC is offering to the Sri Lankan Youth will also be imparted to the attendees with lots of fun activities.Hence the organizing committee of this event promises an unforgettable experience for all the young business enthusiasts who take part in Y2B 2012 that will inspire them to choose the best business avenues and partnerships for their future entrepreneurial endeavors.
