Richmond emerge T20 Triangular champions
Richmond emerged champions of 2nd President Mahinda Rajapaksa T20 triangular tournament with a three wicket win over Thurstan in the final played at the Thurstan ground in Reid Avenue yesterday.
Thurstan organized the inaugural tournament last year and were the first winners.

Richmond takes the Over 40 T20 title
Richmond clinched the Over 40’s T20 triangular title too which was played concurrently at Campbell Place. Richmond over 40’s had sealed the title on the first day itself as they recorded convincing wins over Nalanda over 40’s and Thurstan over 40’s.
The trophy is named after speaker Chamal Rajapakse who is a distinguished old boy of Richmond.
