Seneviratne and Dias shine at Thomian swimming gala

M. Seneviratne swam ahead to win the 25 metres Grade V (upper 3) sprint and N.D. Dias annexed the same event in the Grade Four (Lower third) at the S. Thomas’ College Lower School Swimming Gala, which was held recently at Mount Lavinia.

Following Seneviratne into second place was S. Syendra while M. Chandrasiri was third.
In the schools invitation relays, Royal College made a clean sweep by winning the Under 9 and 11 freestyle 25 metre relays as well as the Under 9 50 metres freestyle and Under 11 event of the same distance.
