Lladro’s renowned exquisite flower design comes to Sri Lanka

Lladró, the world’s foremost creator of handcrafted porcelain sculptures, has come to Sri Lanka. Along with the launch in Colombo was the presence of veteran flower artist, Francisca Sanjuan Molla in Colombo, for an exclusive demonstration of the art of creating signature Lladró flowers that are delicate and picture-perfect.

A connoisseur in the field, Francisca Sanjuan Molla started her career with Lladró at the age of 14 after taking Lladró’s exams, and saw her artisan skills blossom at the flower department. She completed her training at Lladró’s legendary workshops and studios based in Valencia, aptly christened the City of Porcelain. After nearly 40 years making flowers and over 30 as an instructor, showing her colleagues how to make each new model, this artist continues enjoying her work as much as ever.
