Edexcel, UK awarded BCAS Campus in Sri Lanka
View(s):The Edexcel, UK the internationally recognized qualification awarding body has recognized BCAS (British College of Applied Studies) as the best performer in Sri Lanka for the year 2011 and presented with the Performance Excellence Award. The award was accepted by BCAS? Chief Operations Manager Mr M S M Fouzer on behalf of the organization at a function held in Colombo recently from Ms Isabel Sutcliffe, the Director in charge of Centre Assessment, Evaluation & Research who was on a short visit to Sri Lanka. The function was attended by Mr Suriya Bibile, the Edexcel?s Country Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives amongst others.
The uncompromised BCAS? commitment to quality and the highest number students enrolled have thus been recognized and praised by the Edexcel.
On that momentous occasion, Mr M M Abdul Rahman commended the staff of BCAS for clinching this coveted award from the Edexcel. He praised them for their constant dedication and commitment. He said that the BCAS was standing tall today because of the efforts put in by its staff to make the institution known worldwide.
Further, Edexcel specially selected BCAS in 2010 as the fastest growing and most outstanding centre in Sri Lanka. “Building careers, Transforming Lives” is the motto of BCAS.
