Sampath IT signs up with Australia’s Paycorp Holdings
View(s):A newly-announced alliance has been announced between Sampath IT, a 100 per cent fully owned subsidiary of Sampath Bank, and Australia’s’ leading payment technology service provider Paycorp (the Payment solution company) and its 100 per cent fully owned subsidiary in Sri Lanka – Business Payment Services (BPS).
The agreement, signed earlier this month, provides Sampath IT with a full suite of compliant solutions such as PCI-DSS Hosted Payment Pages, Fraud Mitigation, Tokenisation and card vault Solutions aimed at small, medium and large enterprises seeking to utilise secure payments processing services.
“Paycorp is committed to making a significant difference to the long-term performance of its banking and corporate clients in Sri Lanka”, noted John Caliguri, Chairman of Paycorp and Business Payment Services, in a media statement issued by BPS. “Our integrated product offering to Sampath IT will show how well we have made our products available as software as a service ensuring that Sampath bank meets the changing technical demands but will positively contribute to their clients’ ecommerce success.”
BPS Managing Director Mazeen Farook said, “Internet-based services are on the move in Sri Lanka and Paycorp expects Sampath Bank to be uniquely positioned to capitalize and deliver a number of modern, highly compliant, real-time payment processing solutions supporting all major credit and debit cards from global payment processing networks in multiple currencies”.
