View(s):Pakistan’s new fast bowling sensation Muhammad Irfan is tallest cricketer in the history with a height of seven feet and one inch.The 30-year-old bowler stunned the top Indian batsmen with pace and bounce in his debut Twenty20 International match at Bangalore on 26th December 2012 where Pakistan thrashed India by five wicket in a thriller.
Muhammad Irfan impressed pundits of the game with his speed and bounce which cause the trouble for India opener Gautam Gambhir.“Irfan proved a surprise package for Pakistan and he really devastated Indian batsmen,” Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram commented. The lanky quickie played two One-day Internationals against England in 2010. But was sidelined after disappointing start taking none for 37 in seven overs at Chester-le-Street and 0-40 in seven overs at Leeds.
Irfan surpassed his idol Joel Garner as tallest cricketer of all time by five inches.
