Majestic Cineplex, country’s first ever cinema multiplex with 3D facility is to release some of the latest blockbusters in the first quarter of the new year 2013. The four state-of-the-art theatres at the multiplex will showcase both Hollywood and Bollywood releases in 2013.

Slated to be released on January 25, ‘The Last Stand’ starring Arnold Schwarzenegger will be the first Hollywood movie to be released at the Majestic while ‘Race 2’ starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will be the first Bollywood movie.

These will be followed from February 8 by ‘Bullet to the Head’ a Hollywood movie starring yet another 1980s super star Sylvester Stallone from February 8. ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ is another upcoming American action film directed by John Moore and written by Skip Woods to be released in Sri Lanka in March.

Written by Andrew Knauer and directed by Kim Ji-woon ‘The Last Stand’ is Schwarzenegger’s first leading role since Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in 2003.Directed by Abbas-Mustan ‘Race 2’  is a sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reprising their roles as Robert D’Costa and Ranveer Singh from the previous film while Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Ameesha Patel are new additions. Bipasha Basu will reprise her role of Sonia in a special appearance.

Action film ‘Bullet to the Head’ directed by Walter Hill based upon Alexis Nolent’s French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete will star Sylvester Stallone, Jason Momoa, Sung Kang, and Christian Slater in the main cast. Premiered at the International Rome Film Festival in last November  the film tells the story of a hitman (Sylvester Stallone) who teams with a young Washington DC detective (Sung Kang) in a high-stakes investigation that leads from dingy back alleys all the way to the power corridors of New Orleans.

The Bollywood film, ‘ABCD’- Anybody Can Dance is the first dance film of India in 3D. Directed by director and choreographer Remo D’Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. The film stars Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya in key roles during a reality dancing event. Dance India Dance winners also essay central characters.

For Sarvesh Kalangutkar (Prabhudheva), widely regarded as India’s best dancer, dance is more than a passion – it’s the reason he lives! So when he finds himself thrown out from the Swiss dance academy he himself set up, by his manipulative business partner, it feels like the oxygen has been sucked out from the air he breathes. Heart-broken, the dancer decides to give up dance and leave Mumbai forever. However the night before his departure he witnesses a most amazing sight  …

‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ is the fifth installment of the Die Hard film series and stars Bruce Willis as he reprises the lead role of John McClane, who travels to Moscow, Russia and is coincidentally caught in the crossfire of a terrorist plot with his estranged son.
